School Looking for Driver
The Wausa Schools is looking for a Full-Time Bus Route Driver for morning and evening daily routes. Qualified individuals must have a current State of Nebraska Driver’s License and successfully obtain the regular pupil transportation driver’s licenses as well.
All expenses will be paid for the individual who successfully completes and obtains the proper certification.

Nebraska Public Power District is urging farmers to ‘look up and look out’ for overhead transmission lines following two recent incidents. Both incidents involved boom sprayers coming into contact with overhead transmission lines, and creating power outages in several communities.

Weather Service Issues Caution
The National Weather Service is urging Northeast Nebraska residents to use caution when outdoors today due to the high heat. The heat and humidity will make heat related illnesses more likely if precautions are not taken. Children, the elderly and people with chronic ailments are usually the first to suffer from the heat.
