The Wausa chapter of the Stand for the Silent held their first talent show. The program was held at the Wausa School Auditorium on Friday, January 27th. The fundraiser brought in over $400 for the Stand for the Silent group to continue their work to stop bullying. Many participates showed their best talents for the community to see. The judges had tough choices to make in each division. Here are the winners and runner-ups:
High School Division
- 1st place was Sarah Banks and Kyle Shimer
- 2nd place Sam Hennings and Reba Shimer
Junior High Division
- 1st place was the 8th graders snap dance, Ashton H., Claire V., Tara M., Kainen H., Blake B., Elena R.
- 2nd place was Mary J., and Elena R.
Elementary Division
- 1st place was Thea M, and Camille A.
- 2nd place was Ruth J.
Adult was a tie between Mr. Hoesing and Mrs. Rojas.
