Friends of Terri Suhr started a project this summer to remember a huge asset to our community. Terri worked over many years to provide a quality ball program for our children. She started the Alumni Volleyball Tournament to benefit projects for the summer program. As well as many other projects at the field through the years. Terri lost her battle to cancer in March of this year.
The field will be officially named to always remember her work and dedication to the program. The dedication of the Softball Field will be on Sunday, Sept. 5th starting at 1 PM. Please stop over and help the community celebrate the hard work of one of Wausa’s Biggest Fans.

I coached with Terri for a number of years. She did a wonderful job for the softball program and was one of the driving forces behind putting up the concession stand and outfield fences. I hope all present and future players will remember Terri when they step on this field.
