The 3rd Annual Threshing Bee and Tractor Ride will be held on August 27th and 28th. This two day event will begin on Friday August 27th with the 1st annual Corn Cob Poker Run. The 27 mile ride will take you through Bloomfield, Wausa and Rolling Hills Country Club. The event begins at the Endres farm before 3PM. Prizes will be given in several catagories.
The Threshing Bee will start at 12pm on Saturday, August 28th. Demonstration will use equipment from the early 1900s through 1960s.
A live auction will be featured following the threshing bee.
Items include:
1.½ hog with processing
2.6 bags of DeKalb seed corn
3.Bloomfield Ag Ed program used shop equipment: table saw, drill press, band saw, jointer, misc. hand tools
4.½ hog with processing
Many more items!!!
All proceeds will go to the Bloomfield Ag Ed program.
DIRECTIONS TO ENDRES PLACE:
from Bloomfield go West to cemetery, turn South onto 543 Ave., go one mile to 880 Rd., turn West, first house on North side of road
