A project has started up in Wausa to name the Softball Field after one of Wausa’s biggest fans.  Terri Suhr worked over the years to provide a wonderful facility for the youth to play.  She also started the Alumni Volleyball weekend to help fund the Summer Softball/Baseball Program which continues to this day.

The Village of Wausa agreed to rename the softball field the Terri Suhr Memorial Field in appreciation of her work with the program.

With your help a sign will be erected during the Labor Day Weekend.  Funds are needed to finish the project and get a new sign for the field.  All donations will continue until the 1st of August.  To Donate online click on the ChipIn! button below for a secure transaction method. An account has been setup at Commercial State Bank.

I just wanted to share that this project is being done by Friends of Terri’s and that any money left over will be put against projects that need updated on the concession stand. You can stop at the bank at any time and leave a donation to an account that has been open for this project. We truly appreciate anything you give.
