Knox County Sheriff Report

Knox County SheriffOn May 20, 2010, a report was received of a one vehicle accident 9 miles west and 2 ½ miles south of Verdigre, on 516th AVE.  Caroline Cook, Verdigre, driving a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire, was traveling north on 516th AVE, lost control of the vehicle going around the curve,  entered the west ditch, struck and embankment and rolled once.  Both the driver and passenger, Dominique Cook, were transported by private vehicle to the O’neill hospital with minor injuries.  The vehicle was a total loss.

On May 20, 2010, a report was received from Duane Liska that someone had stolen six  suitcase weights off of an International tractor.  The tractor had been parked on 885th RD, ¼ miles west of Highway 14.
