Josh and Carrie Barney Family,
She has walked where none of us ever wanted to walk. She has faced challenges none of us ever want to meet. She is the true epitome of the underdog, conquering a victory during a tumultous battle that none of us would want to fight. She remains the hero for each of us and yet, all of us stand a bit taller for having been part of her life. Inspiration? Carrie was all of that and more to her family and our community. We share your loss, but will forever shoulder her spirit and determination, building strength into the legacy she left for each of us. We praise Carrie and her family; ‘Thanks’ for sharing your life with us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Josh. My heart goes out to you. Let us know if you need us to do anything.
We can only imagine the love for her family that kept Carrie fighting so long and so hard! Her courage and strength were amazing. She is some one we will never forget and I hope we can all be as strong as she was. Know that we are thinking of all of you and praying for your peace as well.
Bonnie & Dale
In all my dealings wiith Carrie, I will always remember her beautiful smile and her readiness and willingness to help. I, too, will miss her. May God give Josh and the family blessings and help through these tough times.
She was beautiful both inside and outside and her smile could like up a room. I only knew her for a little while but that was long enough to know that she was someone special. My deepest prayers for Josh and his family.
My heart goes out to the Barney family, I know how difficult it is to loss a loved one to cancer. Carrie was a fighter and a huge inspiration for anyone battling an illness to never give up and never surrender.
Stay strong.
I was not lucky enough to know Carrie, but if she was anything like her parents she must have been a wonderful person. My heart goes out to all of you during this time.
How sad to hear that Carrie passed away also.
Wausa has lost two very fine young ladies lately.
Sending prayers to all of her family and the Anderson family.
