The disaster declaration will allow state and local government entities to request federal aid to help pay for storm-related costs. The expanded declaration adds: Boone, Boyd, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dixon, Fillmore, Frontier, Furnas, Gosper, Greeley, Harlan, Holt, Howard, Knox, Loup, Merrick, Nuckolls, Pierce, Platte, Polk, Richardson, Sarpy and Wayne counties.
