2010 Alumni Vollyball Winner: Back-Tyler Fincher, Jeff Friedrich, Rusty Fuller; Front- Catrina Kruse, Dawn Friedrich, Abby Fuller
The 17th annual alumni volleyball tournament was held on march 20, 2010 at the W H Johnson Gymnasium. 17 teams participated this year with teams of 74, 77 79, , 81, 88, 97, 98, 00, 01, 02, 05-09. The team of 02 consisted of Terri Suhr”s nieces and nephews, And the team of 77, consisted of Terri”s family.
The team of 1981 won the tournament, 1997 placed second and the team of 1988 placed 3rd.
The winning team consisted of Jeff and Dawn Friedrich, Tyler Fincher, Catrina Kruse, and Rusty and Abby Fuller. The first game started at 8:30 in the morning and the last game ending about 8:45 pm. Thanks to all who attended and played.
The tournament was very successful, over $800 dollars was raised for the Wausa Summer Youth Baseball/Softball program. A big thanks to Joni Burns for having the concessions stand open and working it. Also Thank you to all who helped set up the Gym and refered those games when I needed help. Thanks to Dale & Karen Fink for helping clean up the Gym. Thanks to the School for the use of the Gym.
