Wausa along with thousands of others across the country, celebrated beloved children’s author Theodor Seuss Geisel’s March 2 birthday by participating in the nationwide Read Across America program, sponsored by the National Education Association.
A morning assembly kicked off the day’s reading-related festivities which included reading, games and fun. Wausa has celebrated this day since it’s inception in 1997.
Wausa Elementary Students always look forward to the event and the staff and volunteers did another wonderful job creating excitement for reading.
