Wausa Awarded Stimulus Dollars

Twenty Nebraska school districts and educational service units have been awarded millions of federal stimulus dollars to improve technology.

The more than $3 million in grants are supposed to improve student learning through the use of technology in elementary and secondary schools, and to help all students become technologically literate.

The school districts and educational service units that got the grants are: Crete; Educational Service Unit 6; Garden County; Plattsmouth; Auburn; Broken Bow; Educational Service Unit 10; Omaha ; Lyons-Decatur; Heartland; Falls City; Lincoln; Kearney-Hastings Consortium; Minitare, Educational Service Unit 11; Educational Service Unit 5; Wausa, Cody Kilgore; Educational Service Unit 7; and Lexington.
