Another Snow Day has been called in advance of a major storm headed for our area and there will be no school at Wausa Today.
The National Weather Service in Valley has broken down the activity for the expected snow storm to hit the region beginning Wednesday morning. 9 a.m. looks like zero hour for the storm to begin. By noon the storm should be in full swing. Then by 3 o’clock considerable drifting of snow will cause difficult travel conditions. Once the system passes through the region high winds, bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills will follow. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST Thursday.
