Christmas Break Ends for Students

By on January 3, 2010 with 9 Comments

School will be held Monday due to excess days lost due to the winter weather this year.  The Wausa School Website does list Monday as No School, but once again all students will have school on Monday.

Get the kids bundled up and back to the routine as Christmas Break is officially over in Wausa.  Good Luck students on the second half of the school year!

Too bad we weren’t informed of this sooner than 6:30pm Sunday night. I would have to say that someone “dropped the ball” on this important detail!

I think this is pretty typical of our young principal… I hope he gets better but my guess is it will only get worse the more comfortable he becomes..

Students were informed about school resuming on Monday the week before they were released for Chrismas break.

Don’t you think the staff should have sent home a note. This decision was not made just last night by the principal. The staff should have gave the parents a heads up before they all got a “Christmas Break”. Telling the students is not good enough; communication with the parents is a must.

IF i recall correctly there was a note sent home with the elementary students before christmas break! Maybe the parents should be looking in the book bags…and…reading everything that is in the bookbag!

I note was sent home with my child before break stating that school would be back in session on Monday, January 4th.

I would really like the school to send home the monthly calendars with the kids BEFORE the next month starts.

Obviously not everyone got the note

No note here and I check the bag every night. Talked with many elementary parents that had NO idea that there was going to be school on Monday. Apparently one of teachers took it upon themselves to notify the parents of their students that there was going to be school on that Monday. It seems like things are not communicated very well up there.
