On November 29, 2009, a report was received from the Rolling Hills Golf Course, that sometime during the night a vehicle had entered the golf course, and drove on three (3) greens and stole two (2) poles with flags attached to them. The total damage and theft was over $100.00. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, or your local Law Enforcement Agency.
On November 29, 2009 a report was received of a one vehicle accident 6 miles east and 1 mile north of Creighton. Scott Bertschinger, Bloomfield, driving a 1988 Ford Bronco II, was traveling north on 537 Ave when he struck the road embankment, lost control, crossed the road and struck the opposite embankment. Bertschinger was transported by the Creighton Rescue Squad to the Creighton Hospital with minor injuries. The Creighton Fire Department and Police Department also assisted at the scene. The vehicle sustained at least $1000 in damages.
