I’m not trying to copy Joni, but I have to second what she said…

I am so very thankful that God is in control and that no matter what, He is not failing to notice what any of us are going through. He is bigger than any of our “giants” and He will make it all well in the end. That gives me joy every day.

I am thankful for family celebrations and the oportunity to give to others this Christmas season.

And I am thankful for the opportunity to over-eat at the Holidays. I love a good and overflowing plate of homemade food shared with family and friends!! Bring on the gravy!

I am thankful for our wonderful community that provides for our children. Including all of the activities they have in our town and our school system.

I’m thankful to know God and understand that he is in control. It makes each day so much easier. I’m also thankful that when I forget what I know about that, He gently reminds me!

I’m thankful for time spent with family. We are having four days of little get-togethers. The weather is looking good for safe travel and we are all basically healthy. (No colds or flu) Monday we will be back to our routines and schedules.

There’s another thing to be thankful for, routines and schedules. It’s great to be busy!

Josh (and Family), I believe you have “said it (all)for each of us” that share your contents for what life is really all about. The non-material values we have in life are really the greatest attributes that make us thankful.

It remains a sad commentary for many around us, our state, our country, and the rest of the world that cannot participate in this celebration due to the multiplicity of human contraints, mainly because they don’t live in a place like Wausa. Our thoughts for those folks should be part of our (global) reflections…and you said it best, “I don’t think we need them, but we do.” HT-4U2!
