A new schedule at Wausa School was announced this week in the packages sent home to all the students. The School will be extending their school time Monday through Thursday by 13 minutes and dropping 8th period on Fridays.
The Friday time slot will be used for some of the teacher in-service activities which are behind the design of the schedule change. This allows a consistent schedule rather than one day a month to let out for the in-services.
The First day of school will be August 24th which lands on a Monday and will be a full day.
Wausa Public Schools new hours:
Start Time: 8:10 AM Mon.-Friday
End Time: 3:45 PM Mon.-Thursday
End Time (FRIDAY ONLY): 2:52 PM
