Morningside College women’s track and cross country coach Dave Nash has announced 17 recruits who will begin competition for the Mustangs in the 2009-10 year. The list includes two athletes who have state titles on their resumes.
Among those announced is Savannah Wakeley of Wausa, Neb. Wakeley was this year’s Nebraska Class D state runner-up with a height of 5-3 at the state meet and she placed fifth at the Class D state meet as a junior with a height of 5-3.
