The Community Memorial Day Program will be held on Monday starting at 10:00 AM at the Community Auditorium. This year’s event marks the 90th annual celebration held here in Wausa. The program is sponsored by the Earl Norman American Legion Post #62, Roy Carlson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5824 and their auxiliaries.
The concert band directed by Robert Gerrard will start the ceremony at 9:50 AM. Children from the community and from the Boy Scout troop will also participate in this year’s Memorial Day Celebration.
