myWausaNews Readers Raise Money
On March 27th the Sophomore Class held a very fun event to raise money for the class. The Staff vs. Students Basketball game was a huge success and the readers of myWausaNews.com helped make it a little more successful. Swimming Pool Opens June 1
School is out and the weather is warming up which only means one thing. The Wausa Municipal Pool will open for the summer on Monday, June 1st. The pool will be open Monday-Thursday from 1PM till 5PM and 6PM till 9PM, also on Friday - Sunday from 1PM till 6PM.

Baseball Starts this Week Against Verdigre
The Wausa Softball/Baseball Season begins this week with games. To start the season Verdigre will travel to Wausa with the 7 and 8 year olds playing at 5:30 PM, the 9 and 10 year olds will play at 6:30PM and the 11 and 12 year olds will play at 7:30PM.

Memorial Day Program Starts at 10AM
The Community Memorial Day Program will be held on Monday starting at 10:00 AM at the Community Auditorium. This year’s event marks the 90th annual celebration held here in Wausa. The program is sponsored by the Earl Norman American Legion Post #62, Roy Carlson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5824 and their auxiliaries.
