The Norfolk Track and Field Classic will be held on April 30, 2009 at the Norfolk Senior High Track and Field Facility. Starting time for Field Events is 4:45 p.m. with Running Events to begin at 5:15 p.m.. The Track and Field Classic will feature athletes from across Northeast Nebraska in a fast moving no prelims format.
The athletes competing are selected based on the times, distances, or heights submitted by their coaches since the beginning of the 2009 track season. Congratulations to Savannah Wakeley competing in the High Jump and Peyton Swanson competing in the 1600m run for being invited to the Norfolk Classic track meet.
As a reminder, NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION AREA. THIS INCLUDES CELL PHONES, IPODS, HEADPHONES, AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES. THIS RULE EFFECTS COACHES AND PARENTS AS WELL AS PARTICIPANTS. PLEASE INFORM YOUR ATHLETES AND FANS TO AVOID PROBLEMS.
