Students vs. Staff Basketball Fundraiser

By on April 2, 2009 with 4 Comments

The Wausa Staff played a “fair” game against the Wausa Students last Friday, but ultimately the students prevailed. The score was close and everyone had a great time. Thank you to the Sophomore class for inviting us to record the event. We hope they continue this great fundraiser for years to come.

If you did not get a chance to go to the event or would like to help the class you can donate securely online to the class by clicking the ChipIn Button below.

HOW AWSOME ARE OUR KIDS TO THINK OF SOMETHING THIS UNIQUE AND TO HAVE A TOWN BACK THEM LIKE THIS MAKES OUR TOWN AND COMMUNITY THAT MUCH MORE SPECIAL!!!!!

Wausa’s sophomore class president, Leslie Kumm, actually said she got the idea from an Omaha World Herald story. So, while she didn’s think this unique idea up, she sure helped pull off a successful version of it.
