The Wausa Track Team has braved many of the unruly Nebraska Spring Days to compete very well. The team consists of four seniors, nine juniors, seven sophomores and four freshmen. Some of their meets have been postponed indefinitely due to winter weather this spring.
This year the team has traveled to the following meets:
- Friday, March 20th Wayne Indoor
- Thursday, April 9th Knox County @ Creighton
- Thursday, April 16th O’Neil Invite
- Tuesday, April 21st Hartington Invite
- Saturday, April 25th Wausa Invite @ Pierce
With only a few left before the end of the school year:
- Tuesday, April 28th Creighton Invite
- Thursday, April 30th Norfolk Track Classic
- Saturday, May 2nd Conference Track Meet @ WSC
- Thursday, May 7th Winside Invite @ Laurel
