The 4th and 5th graders from Lincoln will represent Wausa as they head to Lincoln today. On the schedule for the trip is to tour Morrill Hall at the University of Nebraska, eat their sack lunches in the Cornhusker Stadium, tour the capitol, tour the State Historical Society exhibits and then head for home.
The weather should cooperate to make this a wonderful field trip and learning experience for the kids.
From talking with a few of the kids, this really was a ’stimulus package’ for them. Now, get back to your homework.
