The Every Kid a Camper program started in 1989 with 12 kids attending camp. Since then, the program has grown tremendously. 71 kids attended camp in 2008. The purpose of the program is to help any child entering kindergarten through high school to go to camp.
The program has many fundraisers throughout the year to support the program. This Sunday the group will host an Auction and Dinner at the Wausa Audutorium. Covenant Cedars, a bible camp located near Hordville, will grill hamburgers starting at noon. The silent auction will begin at 1:30 PM.
