Wausa will be holding the second Annual Swedish One Act Festival on Wednesday, November 12th, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. This Festival will host some of the best One-Act Play programs that Northeast Nebraska has to offer, from Wausa, the 2-time defending Class D-2 State champions, to Pierce, the 2006 Class B State Runner Ups, to Laurel-Concord, the three time Defending Class C-1 and C-2 State Champions.
Also included in these performances are:
- Bloomfield (first time performance for a brand new program under Melinda
Makings) - Crofton (C-1 State Qualifier in 2007)
- Plainview (a great Fine arts school, has been dominant in speech the last several years)
- Hartington CC (Won 5 state championships and 4 Runner-ups in Speech and One-Acts in the 1980′s and 90′s)
- Winside (state qualifier in D-1 in 2006 and 2007)
This is a fun day, showcasing some of the best talent in Northeast Nebraska. The schedule is as follows for performances:

These performances are open to the public. All are invited to attend. Please be aware that the plays will start on time, and once the play starts, the doors will be closed for the performance going on. We hope to get a good crowd!
