Wow! What a great Homecoming day yesterday with the Volleyball girls and Football boys taking victories.
The Live Broadcasts went very well on myWausaNews.com and these could not be done without the help of our sponsors. We started the week with the Volleyball Game against Newcastle, which was a very good game and can be viewed by clicking here. We broadcast for 3 hours and 47 minutes with a total of 58 views.
We continued on Friday with a live broadcast from Downtown Wausa of the Homecoming Parade. This broadcast had an audio glitch at the beginning but was resolved about half way through the broadcast. The Parade can be viewed by visiting our Live Broadcast Page as we re-broadcast the Parade, the Homecoming Coronation, the Volleyball Game from Wednesday and the Football Game against Niobrara. We broadcast for 1 hour and 21 minutes at the parade with a total of 62 views.
The Football Game went very well not only for us but also for the Wausa Vikings as they defeated the Niobrara Lions. We broadcast for 3 hours and 42 minutes with a total viewership of 361 people. Unfortunately for some reason we only have the first half recorded but the full game was live on myWausaNews.com.
Thank you once again to our sponsors and to everyone for their support of our Live Broadcasts on myWausaNews.com.

Josh…
You and others in our school/community may find it interesting to know that after the Homecoming Game, Lois and I were on the Yahoo Messenger with Jahon Osimy. We inquired as to whether he wanted info on the game/coronation ceremonies and the like.
He informed us that he watched the entire activiites from his own computer in Lincoln, and was happy for the victories and all those in the Homecoming activities.
He went on to explain that he, along with 4 or 5 other students from last years International Exchange Program were also watching!
Your broadcasts went into the living rooms around the world and as tiny as we are here in N.E. Nebraska, you took us GLOBAL. WOW!!!
And let’s not forget, “Thanks” to those students who shared their lives and customs
with us as they are still very much, ‘part of us’.
This school/community owes you a huge debt, Josh, for your dedicated efforts and future-vision in showing “US” to the rest of the world.
If we can continue to reach others from around the globe from our little corner of the world, someday they will all live like Wausa, too!!
