On May 28, 2008, a report was received of mailbox vandalism on 552 Ave, on the Knox/Cedar County line. Larry Hesse’s and Guy Kohles’s mailboxes were pulled from the ground and thrown into the ditch. Numerous mailboxes within the county have been vandalized.
